This script allows you to create and apply character styles to the following font styles/formatting: bold, italic, bold-italic, underline, superscript, subscript, strikethrough, smallcaps. So, if your InDesign document has eight or more character styles, the script allows you to map your existing styles to each of the styles/formats the script works with.

Bold, Medium and Black font styles will be styled as bold. Italic and Oblique font styles will be styled as italic. All other font styles will be considered as regular.
