A script set (of three scripts) to copy/cut (one script to copy, other to cut) and a second step to load the selection as a snippet in InDesign’s placegun.

The script creates a temporary snippet file (when you run the copy or the cut scripts) and then load it to the placegun when you run the place script.

Much more useful when used with keyboard shortcuts.
